PRODUCT RELATED

  1. Choose a strip (12V or 24V)
  2. Pick your power supply to match either (12V or 24V)
  3. Add a controller for RGB/W series.
  4. Add a remote (controllers are compatible with more than 1 remote)
  • Voltage & Power Supply: 12V range need a 12V supply, ideal for compact spaces, campers or limited driver space. 24V range use a 24V supply, suited for larger installations.
  • Voltage Drop: the 12V series are more prone to brightness loss over long distances. The 24V series maintain consistent brightness over longer lengths. 24V will typically be able to handle twice the length that a 12V, assuming that the power ratings of the two products are the same.
  • Dimming Performance: Some users find that 24V series offer smoother dimming capabilities with less flicker compared to 12V series, especially over long lengths. This can be due to the reduced current in 24V systems, which helps in achieving finer control over the lighting output during dimming.
  • Smaller power supplies: Similar to conductor size, power supply size is also determined primarily by current rather than voltage. Part of this is also influenced by the physics relationship between electrical current and conductor size needs, as much of the internal wiring of a power supply unit is comprised of copper wiring. Power supply size can be important when working with projects such as LED strip lights in under cabinet installations where there may be space constraints.

The difference between 12V and 24V is typically insignificant, but if you truly do not have a strong preference for one over the other, hopefully this has helped.

When a LED strip is connected to both a controller and a remote, the remote typically serves as the primary method of operation. However, once the LED strip is powered on using the remote, it can then be controlled using a standard push-button switch for basic on and off functionality. This allows the user to override the need for the remote, simplifying control when only a quick on/off is required. The remote would still need to be used for more advanced functions, but the push-button offers convenient and immediate operation once the strip has been activated.

Yes, our range is dimmable! Please make sure to add one of the following, depending on requirments:
Controller + remote
Casambi smart Strip controller
If using single CCT, a dimmable LED driver.

We can also offer compatible options with Phase / DALI / 0-10V / Zigbee

All specification sheets are available on each product's respective page. Including Data Sheets, cabling guides, IES Files and Installation Instructions.

We are committed to delivering products that offer industry leading quality, performance and reliability. We back our commitment to these values by offering an extended warranty for each luminaire. Please refer to each product page for correlated warranty period.

While viewing products on our website, the dimensions are generally in the product description or in the downloadable pdf specification sheet (if available).

Kelvins refers to the colour temperature (or the colour of light) that is emitted by a light source. It can have a dramatic effect on the functionality or mood of a room.Typically, the lower the kelvin temperature of a light source, the warmer the colour emitted. The higher the kelvin temperature of a light source, the cooler the colour emitted.Lower kelvin temperature light sources are ideal for use in bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms, whereas higher kelvin temperature light sources are typically used in functional areas such as offices, bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, etc.

Lumens (lm) are a measurement of the total quantity of light emitted by a light source. In simple terms, the higher the lumen, the brighter the light will appear. The efficiency of a light source is usually calculated by dividing the total lumens by the wattage of the product 1800 lm / 22 watts = 81.8 lumens/watt(the higher the lumens/watt = the more efficient the light source).
